Our London-based client is seeking an Applications Developer with 3–5 years’ experience to join their team on a permanent basis. You’ll become part of a collaborative IT function that is embracing modern technologies while maintaining a strong service-focused culture. As part of the Applications & Development team, you’ll play a key role in developing, enhancing, and supporting business-critical applications, helping to deliver secure, efficient, and innovative technology solutions across the organisation. Working alongside a well-established IT department, you’ll contribute to the ongoing modernisation of systems and processes while ensuring applications continue to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Key responsibilities
*Developing and maintaining .NET applications.
*Designing and building new software solutions.
*Supporting and improving existing systems.
*Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to understand requirements.
*Troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
*Producing technical documentation.
*Keeping systems secure, up to date, and following development best practice.
*Staying up to date with new technologies, including Azure, AI, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Experience Required:
*C#/.NET, ASP.NET and .NET Core.
*SQL Server.
*JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
*REST APIs.
*Microsoft Azure.
*Azure DevOps and Git.
*SharePoint Online.
*Power Automate (Microsoft Power Platform).
*Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Experience:
*Power BI or SSRS reporting.
*Microsoft Office development (VBA/.NET).
*ITIL environments.
*AI services within Microsoft Azure.
