The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
*Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
*Create a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
*Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families.
*Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews.
*Support pupils’ communication, independence, emotional development and academic achievement.
*Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of complex learning needs.
The Ideal Candidate
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply.
*Has a passion for inclusive and specialist education.
*Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Is committed to helping every learner achieve their individual potential.
*SEN experience is desirable but not essential; applications from mainstream teachers looking to transition into SEND are welcomed.
