Our Client
A growing UK multi-site organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of new site developments, refurbishments and capital investment projects across its national estate.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for managing projects from initial feasibility through to construction, handover and operational launch, working closely with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
The Role
*Lead the delivery of construction, fit-out and refurbishment projects across multiple locations.
*Conduct site feasibility assessments and provide project recommendations.
*Manage design development with architects, consultants and stakeholders.
*Coordinate tendering and procurement activities.
*Appoint and manage contractors, suppliers and project teams.
*Monitor project budgets, timelines and overall commercial performance.
*Carry out regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance and health & safety standards are maintained.
*Manage project risks and resolve delivery issues proactively.
*Oversee statutory approvals, Building Control requirements and compliance documentation.
*Lead project handovers, snagging processes and post-project reviews.
*Support estate improvement and refurbishment programmes.
The Successful Candidate
*Proven experience managing multiple construction, fit-out, refurbishment or property development projects simultaneously.
*Strong knowledge of construction project delivery and contractor management.
*Experience managing budgets, programmes and project reporting.
*Understanding of Building Regulations, CDM Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
*Able to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities.
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
Desirable
*Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).
*Construction-related qualification (Degree, HNC/HND or similar).
*Experience within retail, hospitality, childcare, leisure, franchising or other multi-site environments.
