Job Description:
Full job descriptionIf you’re looking for a Finance Analyst role where you’ll do more than produce month-end reports, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Joining a growing international manufacturing business, you’ll become an integral part of a finance team that’s evolving alongside the business. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and senior leadership, you’ll provide the analysis and insight that helps shape commercial and operational decisions.
This is a broad role that offers plenty of variety. You’ll split your time between management accounting, commercial analysis and business partnering, giving you exposure to multiple areas of the organisation while developing your own skills along the way.
Whether you’re analysing margins, supporting budgets, reviewing stock performance or improving reporting processes, you’ll play a key role in helping the business understand its financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
What you’ll be doing
*Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting for the US operation
*Analysing margins, sales performance and profitability trends
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
*Monitoring working capital, stock forecasting and cash flow
*Managing month-end accounting including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
*Preparing financial information to support business and board reporting
*Working closely with operational and commercial teams across the business
*Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial controls
*Supporting business improvement projects and ongoing growth initiatives
What they’re looking for
*ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified
*Previous experience in a Finance Analyst or Management Accounting role
*Strong Excel and analytical skills
*Experience using ERP systems
*A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail
*Someone who enjoys working with stakeholders across different departments
*Excellent communication skills with the confidence to present financial information clearly
*Experience within manufacturing, engineering or another product-led environment would be advantageous
Why apply?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that’s investing in both its people and its finance function. You’ll gain exposure to senior leadership, take ownership of meaningful analysis and have the chance to influence how finance supports the wider business.
What’s in it for you?
*Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
*Study support
*22 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
*Exposure to senior stakeholders
*Genuine opportunities to develop as the business continues to grow
If you’re looking for a Finance Analyst position that offers variety, responsibility and the chance to make a real impact, we’d love to tell you more.
