Full job descriptionOur Client, a Merseyside council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Young Persons Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead, supervise and support a team of practitioners working with young people and their families to achieve positive outcomes.
*Provide oversight and management of complex cases, ensuring effective assessment, planning and intervention.
*Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified and responded to appropriately, promoting the welfare and safety of young people.
*Monitor team performance, quality of practice and compliance with statutory duties, policies and procedures.
*Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings, working collaboratively with partner organisations to coordinate support for young people.
*Support staff development through regular supervision, performance management and reflective practice.
*Manage resources effectively to ensure the delivery of a high-quality, responsive service.
*Drive continuous improvement and contribute to service development initiatives that enhance outcomes for young people.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 year’s experience working as a Qualified social worker
