Full job descriptionThe Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a specialist service business with offices in Tring.
The Role
As Finance Assistant you will work across the finance team covering transactional accounting and providing timely and accurate data, journals, reconciliations and analysis in order to aid in the smooth and accurate running of the finance team. Day to day duties will consist of:
*Accurately process all sales invoices
*Provide Credit control management by monitoring and chasing sales invoices
*Ensuring sales invoices are paid on time
*Monitoring and updating of project files
*Working with sales and warehouse teams to issue goods or put holds on services/goods
*Working in weekly project meetings
*Compiling of month end reports
*Processing of financial transactions and maintaining the sales ledger
*Flash and aged Debtor reports
*Sales ledger query resolution
*Maintaining financial records and other duties to support finance
Your Profile
You will be an Experienced Accountant particularly across double entry and with strong IT skills and excellent communication. You will be able to work within a small team and have the ability to take on new tasks with a balance of understanding quickly. Role of Finance Assistant in Tring is commutable from Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas and offering a salary up to £40K + Benefits and working on a Hybrid basis in the office and at home after an initial period of 5 days working in the office
