The role*Deliver engaging Functional Skills English and Maths lessons (Entry 3 to Level 2)
*Teach mainly 16–18-year-olds, many with EHCPs or additional needs
*Manage a rolling cohort of around 60 learners (growing towards 80)
*Use existing Pearson schemes of work and prep learners for weekly exams
*Have one day a week for admin and planning from home
About you*Experienced delivering Functional Skills (reformed curriculum preferred)
*Confident teaching the 16–18 age group
*SEN or employability experience a bonus
*You don’t need to reinvent the wheel — everything’s in place, ready to teach
*Teaching qualification is essential (AET 3 / PTLLS min)
