*Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
*Review financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
*Supervise and mentor junior team members to develop their technical and professional skills.
*Maintain strong client relationships and provide expert advice on accounting and audit matters.
*Identify and address potential risks or issues during engagements and propose practical solutions.
*Ensure effective communication with clients and internal teams throughout the audit process.
*Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
*Contribute to business development activities by identifying opportunities to expand client services.
Profile
A successful Audit Manager should have:
*A recognised qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
*Proven experience in leading audit engagements within a mid-tier accountancy firm.
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering client-focused solutions.
*Experience in managing and mentoring team members to achieve their potential.
