Robertson Bell is partnered with a growing organisation to recruit a permanent Finance Business Partner. The role is one day per week in the office and the organisation is far from stagnant.
The role:
You’ll own the full month-end process for your areas, support budget holders, prepare management information, and present findings to senior stakeholders. This is a hands-on business partnering role with scope to add more value over time.
Key responsibilities
*Lead month-end activity for assigned budget areas
*Prepare accruals, prepayments, management accounts, and reporting packs
*Hold budget review meetings with operational stakeholders
*Present monthly results and insights to senior leaders
*Support budget setting and forecasting
*Analyse variances, identify trends, and highlight risks early
*Contribute to wider financial planning and operational decision-making
The successful candidate:
*Qualified accountant or qualified by strong experience
*Proven finance business partnering or management accounting background
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to non-finance stakeholders
*Able to spot patterns, flag risks, and connect financial information across the business
