Full job descriptionAlexander Daniels are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for a business based in Redditch. This is a temporary assignment initially for 12 weeks, with a view that the role could become permanent. There is a requirement for the successful candidate to have strong experience within D365. You must be available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Head of Finance in the day to day bookkeeping.
*Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers, including postings and account reconciliations
*Reporting on debtors and creditors and delivering and dealing with invoice queries/disputes
*Completing Balance sheet, Control Accounts, Bank & Company Credit Cards reconciliations on monthly basis
*Reviewing & Submitting VAT and annual returns, reconciling to the accounting system
*Other Adhoc tasks as required.
Essential requirements:
*D365 System experience is crucial.
*AAT Qualified or active studier.
*Excellent Excel skills
*Previous experience in a similar role (1-2 years)
Please note this is an on-site role. 35 hour working week.
