Description
The Interim Information Governance / Data Protection Manager
*Develop and implement information governance policies and procedures.
*Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and other legal requirements.
*Provide expert advice on information governance matters to internal stakeholders.
*Clear a back log of DPIAs
*Undertake LIAs
*Manage the ROPA as a priority
*Conduct audits to assess compliance with governance frameworks.
*Manage data breaches and oversee incident reporting processes.
*Deliver training and guidance on information governance best practices.
*Prepare reports and documentation for senior management and regulatory bodies.
*Monitor and respond to changes in legislation affecting information governance.
Profile
A successful Interim Information Governance / Data Protection Manager should have:
*Experience in information governance or data protection with extensive experience with ROPA.
*Strong knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, including GDPR.
*Able to undertake DPIAs, LIAs and general IG advise. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
*The ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
*Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Job Offer
*Daily rate between £450 and £550, dependent on the level of experience.
*Temporary contract offering flexibility.
