One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Assistant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in maintenance, as well as experienced technicians looking for a varied, field-based role.


The company is flexible on experience. Whether you have around six months’ experience in a maintenance role or several years under your belt, they’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.


The Role
Based from Hyde, you’ll travel to customer sites across Manchester and the surrounding areas, carrying out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks. The work can be repetitive at times, so you’ll need to be reliable, organised, and happy working to established procedures.


Typical duties may include:
*Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
*Basic mechanical and general maintenance tasks
*Routine inspections and servicing
*Fault reporting and basic repairs
*Maintaining accurate maintenance records
*Travelling between customer sites across the local area
*Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard


What We’re Looking For
*Some maintenance, facilities, mechanical or handyman experience (around 6 months or more)
*Full UK driving licence (essential)
*A practical, hands-on approach
*Good communication and customer service skills
*Reliable, flexible and willing to travel throughout the Manchester area
*Keen to learn and develop new skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
