£14.75 - £15.55 per hour
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Reed are working with a leading organisation in Milton Keynes who are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their finance team on an ongoing temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and confident Credit Controller to take ownership of outstanding accounts, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the effective management of debt recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities
*Proactively recover outstanding debt from dealer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments.
*Investigate and resolve account queries efficiently and professionally.
*Escalate non-payment issues in line with company procedures.
*Process credit notes and reissue invoices where required.
*Attend regular meetings with management to review outstanding debt and collection activity.
*Handle incoming calls relating to overdue accounts and payment queries.
*Manage email correspondence through shared inboxes.
*Liaise with internal departments to ensure account information is accurate and up to date.
*Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures.
*Ensure all documentation and records are accurately maintained and filed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous experience in a Credit Control position (essential).
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
*The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*A highly organised and proactive approach.
*Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
*Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
*Good IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
*A professional and customer-focused manner.
