Full job descriptionFood and Nutrition Teacher - Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire - temp to permanent role (Sept 2026)
A well-established secondary academy in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Food and Nutrition Teacher to start in September on an ongoing, temp to permanent basis. Paying the new 3.5% uplifted MPS (or UPS) rates from day 1 this is an exciting role with full teaching responsibilities at a diverse and vibrant secondary School.
The school is part of a supportive and structured trust, renowned for promoting both staff and student development. Priding it’s culture and community on diversity and inclusivity. The School additionally offers an excellent and extensive extra-curricular and careers programme.
Responsibilities include:
*Delivering engaging and practical Food and Nutrition lessons across KS3-KS4
*Inspiring students to achieve their personal best within a supportive learning environment
*Planning and assessing in line with the department’s established schemes of work
*Contributing to the sustaining and enhancing of the Design & Technology Department
Requirements for ’Food and Nutrition Teacher’ role:
*Qualified Teacher Status (desirable)
*Experience teaching Food and Nutrition at Secondary level (essential)
*Commitment to supporting all learners, including those with additional needs
*Enhanced DBS Checked, on Update Service (or willing to apply)
*A full employment and educational history
*Reliably commutable to Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
