Monday - Thursday: 7.30am-4.45pm
Friday: 7.30am-12.30pm
We are recruiting for an ongoing TemporaryDeburrerto join a well-established and respected precision engineering manufacturer based inFerndown, Dorset.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production team manufacturing high-quality precision engineered components for a range of demanding industries. The role is ongoing temporary, with thepotential to become permanentfor the right candidate based on performance and business requirements.

The Role
As a Deburrer, you will be responsible for ensuring precision machined components are finished to the required specification before progressing to the next stage of production.
Your duties will include:
*Deburring precision machined components using a variety of hand and power tools.
*Removing sharp edges, burrs and surface imperfections to exact standards.
*Working from engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
*Carrying out visual inspections to ensure components meet quality requirements.
*Handling a variety of metal components safely and efficiently.
*Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
*Working closely with the machining and quality teams to ensure production deadlines are achieved.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
*Previous experience in a deburring, fettling or finishing role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
*The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (advantageous).
*Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
*Good manual dexterity and experience using hand tools.
*A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*A reliable and flexible approach to work.
