Full job descriptionOur client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their busy operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, coordinating orders from start to finish, and working in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same.
£29k - £30k DOE + Good benefits
In this role, you will be the main point of contact for customers, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally and orders are processed accurately. You’ll work closely with internal departments, logistics providers, and external partners to ensure products are delivered on time while maintaining excellent levels of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
· Deliver a high standard of customer support via email, telephone, and other communication channels.
· Process customer orders accurately, ensuring product codes, quantities, pricing, and delivery details are correct.
· Coordinate with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure efficient order fulfilment and timely deliveries.
· Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Finance, Purchasing, and Inventory to resolve customer queries and support smooth day-to-day operations.
· Monitor customer orders from placement through to delivery, providing updates where required and resolving any issues promptly.
· Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all information is kept up to date.
· Support compliance requirements for retail customers across the UK and Europe, ensuring documentation and product information meet required standards.
· Assist colleagues across different customer accounts during busy periods and provide flexible support where needed.
· Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the continuous development of customer service operations.


About You
Our client is looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure and maintaining a positive, solutions-focused approach.
You will ideally have:
· Previous experience within an order processing environment.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
· Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle JDE or similar would be advantageous.
· An understanding of retail supply chains, product barcoding, or compliance requirements would be an advantage.
· GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
