Experienced Litigator looking for a change?
A respected regional law firm is looking to appoint a Contentious Probate & Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. Working alongside experienced Partners, you’ll handle a varied and complex caseload while playing a key role in the continued growth of the department.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Solicitor who enjoys a broad litigation practice and is looking for greater responsibility, exposure to high-quality work and a clear route for career progression.
You’ll manage your own caseload while collaborating with senior lawyers on a wide range of contentious matters, including:
*Contentious Probate and Trust disputes
*Will validity challenges
*Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims
*Executor and trustee disputes
*Trust of Land (TOLATA) claims
*Contentious Court of Protection matters
*Commercial contract disputes
*Shareholder and partnership disputes
*Professional negligence claims
*Real estate litigation
*Contentious insolvency
*Intellectual property disputes
You’ll have the opportunity to advise clients from initial instruction through to resolution, including negotiation, mediation and court proceedings where required.
About You
You’ll be:
*A qualified Solicitor with 4–8 years’ PQE in Commercial Litigation, Contentious Probate or a mixed disputes practice
*Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
*An excellent communicator with strong client relationship skills
*Commercially minded with an interest in networking and business development
*Organised with strong billing, time management and file management skills
Applications from candidates with slightly less or more experience will also be considered where relevant experience can be demonstrated
