Full job descriptionWe are recruiting Trainee Field Technicians to join a leading water utilities company, supporting essential leak detection work across the underground water network. No previous experience is needed — just a full UK driving licence and a willingness to work outdoors.
Location: Hampshire


Working Hours: Days and Nights roles available – 40 hours per week.

You will gain accredited qualifications including:
EUSR Water Hygiene Training
Unit 2 Street Works (NRSWA)


The Role:
This is a practical, field-based role working outdoors at night, supporting leak detection activities across the water network.


Your daily duties will include:
Assisting with detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leaks
Supporting repair teams by providing accurate leak detection information
Carrying out project and survey work across the network
Uploading data to a laptop and completing all required paperwork
Driving between sites and completing manual tasks (lifting, bending, stretching)
Following strict health & safety procedures
You will be trained to use specialist equipment to detect leakage noise and help pinpoint leak locations across the underground network.
