Performance Test Engineer - Outside IR35 - 6 month initial contract - London/hybrid - up to £525 per day
We’re looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer to lead and deliver end-to-end performance testing for a modern web platform built on a microservices architecture.
Key responsibilities:
*Define and implement the performance testing strategy.
*Design and execute load, stress, endurance, and capacity tests.
*Develop and maintain test scripts using JMeter or similar tools.
*Identify and analyse performance bottlenecks across applications and services.
*Work closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve issues and improve scalability.
*Produce clear performance reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
Required experience:
*Proven performance testing experience in web-based environments.
*Strong knowledge of performance testing frameworks and methodologies.
*Experience with microservices and API-driven applications.
*Hands-on expertise with JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, NeoLoad, or k6.
*Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
