Full job descriptionResponsive Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for an Electrical Assembly technician based in Swindon.
Location: Swindon
Hours: Monday - Friday
Shift: 08:00 - 16:30
Pay: From £12.71 per hours (increasing depending on experience)
Job Purpose
To assemble electrical cabinets and box builds to customer drawings and company standards, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
*Assemble electrical cabinets and box builds following customer drawings and work instructions.
*Ensure all work meets IEW quality standards.
*Work safely and follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
*Meet production deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
*Use measuring tools and assembly equipment correctly.
*Carry out soldering and crimping where required (training provided if needed).
*Keep the work area clean and organised.
*Work well as part of a team and support continuous improvement activities.
Skills & Experience
*Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams.
*Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Willingness to learn new skills.
*Soldering and crimping experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
