Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and confident Sports Coaches and Instructors to support Primary and Secondary schools across Dorset.
Whether you’re an experienced coach, a sports graduate, or someone with a background in physical education, this is an exciting opportunity to bring your skills into the classroom and gain valuable experience within education settings.
The RoleAs a Sports Instructor, you’ll play a key role in promoting physical activity, confidence, and teamwork among young people by:
Delivering fun and engaging PE lessons and sports activities
Leading both small-group and whole-class sessions
Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs
Encouraging participation, resilience, and healthy lifestyles
Working across a variety of local schools, gaining diverse and rewarding experience
What We’re Looking For Experience in sports coaching, PE instruction, fitness, or youth sport
Confidence leading and motivating groups of children and young people
A reliable, positive, and enthusiastic approach
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
