Purpose:
To ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
*Process payroll accurately and on time.
*Maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes.
*Calculate statutory payments, deductions, pensions, and benefits.
*Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers.
*Ensure compliance with HMRC and payroll regulations.
*Produce payroll reports and support audits.
Skills & Experience:
*Previous payroll administration experience.
*Good understanding of payroll legislation and statutory payments.
*Strong numerical and administrative skills.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
*High attention to detail and confidentiality.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Qualifications:
*GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
*Payroll qualification (e.g., CIPP) desirable.
