Job Description:
Full job descriptionThis successful and growing business operates within global supply markets, and has built an excellent reputation for quality, service and long-term supplier partnerships. Due to continued growth, a new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious procurement and supply chain professional to take ownership of a portfolio of products and suppliers.
Working as part of a close-knit team, the role offers broad exposure across procurement, supply planning, supplier relationship management and international supply chain operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, taking ownership and building strong relationships both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing supplier relationships across international markets.
*Negotiating pricing, lead times and commercial terms.
*Coordinating supply plans to ensure customer demand is met, and monitoring supply risks.
*Working closely with Sales, Technical, Operations and Logistics teams.
*Managing purchase orders and ensuring accurate system administration.
*Supporting product launches and customer projects.
*Liaising with suppliers regarding packaging, production and shipping schedules.
*Identifying and onboarding new suppliers where appropriate.
*Ensuring all procurement activities comply with company policies and ethical sourcing requirements.
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who possess strong procurement, buying, supply planning experience and who thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment. You will ideally have:
*Relevant experience across procurement, buying, international sourcing, supply planning.
*Strong supplier relationship management skills.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*Strong organisational and administrative skills.
*A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
*Good commercial awareness and negotiation capability.
*Strong Excel and systems skills.
