About the RoleWe are currently seeking Packing Operators to join a busy production and packing team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
As a Packing Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring products are packed to the highest quality standards while maintaining compliance with operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities*Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the manual packing of filled vial products.
*Adhere to gowning and cleaning procedures within the packing area.
*Assist with material handling and the transfer of materials into production areas.
*Monitor stock levels and ensure all materials are within expiry dates.
*Carry out cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment and work areas.
*Support packaging, labelling, line clearance, and in-process weight check activities.
*Identify and report any quality or process non-conformances to the relevant team leaders.
*Complete production documentation accurately and in line with data integrity requirements.
*Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance at all times.
Shift PatternMonday to Friday
Rotating shift pattern:
*07:00 - 15:00
*15:00 - 23:00
What We’re Looking ForEssential Requirements*GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent).
*Strong attention to detail.
*Ability to maintain concentration over extended periods.
*Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
*Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Desirable Experience*Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, food production, manufacturing, or other regulated environment.
*Basic understanding of GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity principles.
*Experience following standard operating procedures and quality processes.
