Job Title: Estimator – Specialist Joinery & Woodworking

The role of Estimator – Specialist Joinery & Woodworking will involve:
*Estimator position dealing with a high end range of bespoke furniture & joinery projects for residential sectors (desks, panelling, furniture, cabinets, surfaces etc.)
*Managing projects from initial enquiry through to final quotation, ensuring accurate and commercially viable pricing
*Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents to identify scope, materials, quantities and project requirements
*Producing detailed take-offs, BOQs and quotations within required deadlines
*Estimating material, labour, manufacturing and installation costs
*Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain costs for specialist materials and outsourced requirements
*Working closely with designers, architects, clients and production teams throughout the estimating process
*Providing technical support, answering client queries and maintaining strong relationships
*Supporting project handovers and monitoring costs through to completion
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Specialist Joinery & Woodworking with
*Must have Estimating experience within the joinery, bespoke interior products, furniture market or closely related sectors
*Great technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
*Highly organised with good attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
*Good team player who also works well individually
