A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner to support children within a Nursery or Reception setting, helping them develop key communication, social, and early learning skills. Working alongside the class teacher and EYFS team, you will help create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment where every child can flourish.

Key Responsibilities*Support teaching and learning within the EYFS setting
*Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
*Support children’s early reading, phonics, language, and numeracy development
*Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning activities
*Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social development
*Complete observations and contribute to children’s learning records
*Work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school team
RequirementsEssential:
*Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
*Experience working within an EYFS setting
*Good understanding of the EYFS Framework
*GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
*A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
Desirable:
*Experience within a primary school setting
*Knowledge of phonics and early intervention programmes
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Paediatric First Aid qualification
