An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established Solicitor Firm based in the heart of York. This is an ideal role for an experienced conveyancer looking for a part-time position (3 days a week) within a friendly, supportive and collaborative team.
The firm’s Residential Conveyancing department has built an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional client service, resulting in consistent five-star reviews and a strong base of repeat business. You will be working alongside a team of 2 excellent Conveyancers, with scope for the role to develop into a full-time position if desired as well as fantastic flexible and hybris working arrangements.
Responsibilities
*Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
*Handle a broad range of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Provide a high standard of client care throughout the conveyancing process
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, estate agents and other third parties
*Work effectively within a busy, target-driven environment
*Utilise case management systems to manage files efficiently and accurately
*Collaborate closely with colleagues while receiving ongoing support where required

Skills & Experience
*Previous experience working within a Residential Conveyancing department
*Confident managing your own conveyancing files with minimal supervision
*Good understanding of the regional residential property market
*Experience using case management systems and legal IT software
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Ability to work effectively within a target-driven environment
*A positive, approachable and team-focused attitude
*Looking for a part-time opportunity with flexibility
