Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)
Are you an experienced Quality and Compliance professional with a strong background in apprenticeships, funding compliance, and Ofsted readiness?
We are seeking an Interim Quality and Compliance Manager to join a growing apprenticeship and training provider based in the Cotswolds. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role, driving quality improvement, ensuring compliance excellence, and supporting inspection readiness across apprenticeship provision.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and coordinate Ofsted readiness activities across apprenticeship provision.
*Support the organisation through Ofsted inspections and quality reviews.
*Conduct quality assurance audits, reviews, and sampling activities.
*Develop and monitor Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs).
*Carry out funding compliance audits in line with ESFA funding rules.
*Analyse quality and performance data to identify risks and drive improvement.
*Support the development of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs).
*Provide coaching, support, and challenge to operational teams and managers.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
*Significant experience within apprenticeship and training provision.
*Strong knowledge of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework.
*Extensive understanding of ESFA funding rules and apprenticeship compliance.
*Experience conducting audits, compliance monitoring, and quality assurance reviews.
*Proven experience supporting or leading an Ofsted inspection.
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
*DSL qualification or safeguarding leadership experience.
*Experience quality assuring Accountancy and/or HR apprenticeship programmes.
*Experience producing or contributing to SARs.
*Relevant quality, compliance, education, or leadership qualifications.
