This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Anatomical Pathology Technician with post-mortem experience to join a professional team on a full-time contract.

Role Details*Job Title: Band 7 Mortuary Technician

*Hours: 37.5 hours per week
*Shifts: Core working hours
*Contract Type: NHS Agency
Key Responsibilities*Carry out hospital post-mortem examinations.
*Prepare and assist during post-mortem procedures.
*Receive, identify and release deceased patients in accordance with Trust policies.
*Maintain accurate mortuary documentation and records.
*Ensure compliance with HTA legislation and infection prevention procedures.
*Support the day-to-day operation of the mortuary service.
*Maintain a respectful, dignified and professional environment at all times.
Essential Requirements*Certificate or Diploma in Anatomical Pathology Technology or
*NVQ Level 3 in Anatomical Pathology Technology
*Previous NHS Mortuary Technician experience.
*Competent in carrying out post-mortem examinations.
*Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, HTA regulations and infection control.
*Right to work in the UK.
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
*Compliance documentation available for immediate registration.
