Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be exclusively supporting a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a Production Supervisor, based in Sheffield.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that supplies into highly regulated, quality-critical industries, offering genuine scope to develop your project management, and team leadership skills as part of a wider management team across a large operation.
Key responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:
*Managing shift activities in line with production and planning schedules
*Taking ownership of Health, Safety and Environmental standards across your areas
*Ensuring shift manning levels support departmental targets
*Driving lean manufacturing and good housekeeping practices
*Working cross-functionally to minimise downtime and keep material flowing efficiently
*Managing documentation, costs and production consumables
We’re looking for experienced Production Supervisors with the below skills & experience:
*Previous supervisory experience within a heavy manufacturing environment
*Understanding of quality and technical processes within the forge industry
*Working knowledge of NDT and inspection processes
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*Exposure to highly regulated sectors
*A hands-on, can-do leader who thrives under pressure and drives continuous improvement
