Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to join a friendly and well-established law firm? We are recruiting on behalf of a respected legal practice seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to play a key role within their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal Cashier who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing client and office account transactions in accordance with SRA Accounts Rules
*Managing incoming and outgoing bank payments, including CHAPS and BACS transfers
*Carrying out daily bank reconciliations
*Processing bills, invoices and disbursements
*Handling client receipts and payments
*Supporting fee earners with financial queries
*Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
*Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
*Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accounting requirements
Requirements
*Previous experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
*Strong knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Proficient IT skills, including legal accounts software and Microsoft Office
