As a Panel Wirer, you’ll be responsible for building and wiring electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics, ensuring every panel is assembled to the highest quality standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
*Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
*Wiring and assembling electrical control panels from start to finish.
*Installing and terminating cables, relays, contactors, circuit breakers and other electrical components.
*Carrying out point-to-point wiring.
*Testing completed panels and assisting with fault finding where required.
*Working closely with the production and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
*Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and health & safety.
What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter or Electrical Assembly Technician.
*The ability to confidently read and work from electrical drawings and wiring schematics (essential).
*Experience wiring industrial control panels.
*Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
*A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
