Description
Key responsibilities include:
*Develop and deliver category strategies that drive sales, margin growth, and commercial performance.
*Lead supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives across key product categories.
*Manage inventory and stock planning to ensure optimal availability while minimising excess and obsolete stock.
*Analyse market, sales, and forecasting data to support commercial and operational decision-making.
*Drive continuous improvement across supply chain processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
*Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve business objectives and support future growth opportunities.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
*Proven experience in category management, purchasing, or procurement, with strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
*Strong analytical capability with confidence using Excel and Office 365 to interpret data, forecasts, and commercial performance.
*Understanding of stock management, inventory planning, and multi-site operational environments.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
*Commercially minded, strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
*Self-motivated and adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and builds strong cross-functional relationships.
Job Offer
