Salary: £60,000 plus performance bonus of up to £6,000

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate OFSTED Registered Residential Child Care Manager to lead a brand-new therapeutic children’s home in Northumberland.
This is an exciting opportunity to establish a high-quality service, build and develop a dedicated team, and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. Supported by an experienced senior leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding, trauma-informed care.
A relocation package is available for the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage the children’s home, ensuring compliance with OFSTED regulations and Children’s Homes Quality Standards.
*Support the home’s registration process and ongoing development.
*Recruit, lead and develop a high-performing staff team.
*Deliver therapeutic, child-centred care focused on positive outcomes.
*Manage budgets, staffing, safeguarding and quality assurance.
*Build effective relationships with local authorities, families and partner agencies.
About You
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
*Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or senior leader within a residential children’s home.
*Strong knowledge of OFSTED, safeguarding and Children’s Homes Regulations.
*Excellent leadership and communication skills.
*Full UK driving licence.
