Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Commodity Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement activities within a manufacturing/engineering environment. The role involves supplier negotiations, RFQs, purchase orders, ERP updates, supplier performance management, and driving cost and lead-time improvements while working closely with Procurement Leads and cross-functional teams.
Key Requirements:
*Bachelor’s degree.
*Experience as a Commodity Buyer in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
*Strong supplier negotiation and procurement experience (RFQs, POs, order fulfilment).
*ERP/MRP system experience.
*Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
*Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
*Fluent English (written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
*Experience sourcing engineered polymers and/or high-grade metals.
*Manufacturing, engineering, or Oil & Gas industry experience.
*Project management or materials management experience.
*MCIPS or other professional procurement qualification.
