Full job descriptionOur client is a well-established, privately owned group of businesses with a diverse portfolio of operations across the property sector. They are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their friendly finance team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a varied role that combines transactional finance with wider administrative responsibilities. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain exposure to a broad range of accounting activities while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities*Process supplier invoices accurately across multiple group companies.
*Maintain organised financial records and ensure documentation is filed correctly.
*Manage finance inboxes and respond to internal and external queries.
*Assist with payment runs and monitor outstanding approvals.
*Support expense processing and maintain accurate financial records.
*Perform data entry and assist with ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
*Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to resolve invoice and payment queries.
*Provide administrative support to the wider finance team.
*Assist with month-end processes and reporting.
*Contribute to continuous improvements in finance administration and processes.
Salary & Benefits*Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience.
*35-hour working week.
*Hybrid working with home working on Fridays.
*26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
