Warrington Council are seeking an Administrative Support member to join their council’s payroll team. This role involves crucial tasks such as the production of contracts, letters for new starters and leavers, and P45s, as well as logging incoming work to enable prioritisation. You will be part of a busy yet friendly team where accuracy and methodical work are paramount. This role requires handling confidential employee data, so a strong understanding of GDPR and data protection is essential.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the production of contracts, letters for new starters and leavers, and P45s.
*Log incoming work to help prioritise tasks within the team.
*Handle confidential employee data with a high level of accuracy and security.
*Work independently or collaboratively as required by the team dynamics.
*Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection laws during all processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience in administrative roles, preferably within a payroll environment.
*Strong understanding of GDPR and data protection requirements.
*Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Previous payroll experience is desirable but not essential.
