We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing facilities management company for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their engineering team covering London.

The Role
Working across a varied portfolio of commercial properties, you’ll be responsible for carrying out air conditioning installations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, fault finding and reactive repairs on a wide range of air conditioning systems.
This is a field-based role where you’ll work independently while being supported by an experienced engineering team, delivering a consistently high standard of workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out the installation of air conditioning systems.
*Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
*Service and maintain a wide range of air conditioning equipment.
*Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs.
*Commission new installations where required.
*Complete all job reports accurately using a PDA/mobile device.
*Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current Health & Safety legislation and industry regulations.
*Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
Essential
*Previous experience carrying out air conditioning installations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and reactive repairs.
*NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
*F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
*Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
*Previous experience working within the Facilities Management sector.
*Experience working on commercial properties.
*Experience with split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and other commercial air conditioning systems.
*IPAF and/or PASMA qualifications.
*Manufacturer training with Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, LG, Panasonic or similar.
*18th Edition or other electrical qualifications would be advantageous.
