Full job descriptionFraser Carver Executive Search are working with a reputable Real Estate Finance Company based in Central London who are looking to add in a Newly Qualified Accountant into the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the UK entities
*Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation
*Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
*Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
*Assist with month-end close and management reporting processes
*Liaise with external tax advisers to support tax compliance and reporting requirements
*Work closely with external audit partners, including preparing schedules and responding to audit queries
*Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end financial information
*Ensure finance records are maintained in line with internal controls and accounting standards
*Assist with process improvements and finance-related ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CA / CPA or equivalent)
*1 - 3 years’ post qualification accounting experience, ideally within a fast-paced or multi-entity environment. Real Estate experience preferred but not essential.
*Strong bookkeeping and financial accounting experience
*Experience working with external tax advisers and auditors
*Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
*Good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting deadlines
*Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
*Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
*Clear written and verbal communication skills
*A hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of work
