The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join their friendly and established team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality covers and awnings for both domestic and commercial customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced machinist looking for a flexible role with a supportive employer.
Key Responsibilities
*Sewing a range of covers and awnings for domestic and commercial applications.
*Operating industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently.
*Producing high-quality work with excellent attention to detail.
*Working from specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements.
*Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
*Working independently and as part of a small team.
Essential Requirements
*Previous experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist is essential.
*Experience sewing heavy-duty materials such as canvas, PVC, vinyl, awnings, covers or similar products.
*High attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
*Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Hours & Salary
*Full-time or part-time applicants will be considered.
*Flexible working hours available.
*Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience.
*Benefits
*23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time).
*Workplace pension.
*Flexible working hours.
