Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay Rate: £16.91 per hour
Enhanced Rates: Weekend & Bank Holiday working available at enhanced rates
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 starts, averaging 10-12 hours per shift

Are you a newly qualified HGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, or LGV Class 1 Driver looking for your first opportunity? Or perhaps you’re an experienced Class 1 Driver searching for a stable, full-time role with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule?

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Category CE) Drivers to join our clients operation based in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced drivers and new pass Class 1 drivers looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive and professional transport team.

As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. The role offers regular daytime work with 06:00 start times and average shifts of 10-12 hours.

Key Responsibilities

*Driving a Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle


*Completing daily vehicle safety inspections


*Carrying out deliveries and collections efficiently and professionally


*Following planned routes and schedules


*Ensuring compliance with Driver CPC, Working Time Directive and Drivers’ Hours regulations


*Completing delivery paperwork and Proof of Delivery documentation


*Representing the company professionally at customer sites


Essential Requirements

*Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV Class 1 / Category CE Licence


*Driver CPC Qualification Card


*Digital Tachograph Card


*Good knowledge of transport legislation and road safety


*Strong communication skills and a professional attitude


*Reliable and customer-focused approach
