Are you a Contract Manager from the Commercial / Construction industry looking to step into a role with an Asbestos Removal and Thermal Insulation service offering specialist fire protection and asbestos training and real progression to become their Managing Director in a few years?
This company was established in 2000 and now boast over 40 staff offering Cumbria’s leading Thermal Insulation specialist and licensed Asbestos Removal Contractor. After 26 years of service the current Director is looking for someone to fill his shoes as a Contracts Manager who can progress into Directorship.
This role will be a mix of office work and Cumbria and South Scotland site visits (70/30 split) providing project management throughout the whole process. You will be creating tender quotations on asbestos, fire protection and thermal insulation projects in initial phases and then moving on to project management; managing budgets, scheduling work, liaising with other departments while being the point of contact for clients.
This role would suit a Contracts Manager or Project Manager looking to upskill into Asbestos and thermal insulation with a company also offering a local patch and car allowance on top.
The Role:
*Creating, maintaining, and expanding our client base and providing quotations
*Manage projects throughout the process
*Preparing all RAMS (Risk Assessments/Method Statements) for assigned jobs
*Co-ordinate and liaise with workforce during the contract to ensure RAMS are strictly adhered to and carried out correctly
*Monday to Thursday (8am-5pm) Fridays (8am -2:30pm)
*Car allowance (£5000) or company car
*Specialist training in Asbestos
The Person:
*Contracts Manager or Project Manager Within a Construction or Commercial Industry
*Asbestos or Fire Protection experience or willing to train
*Willing to commute to office in Workington and site visits in Cumbria
