Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Office-based (Monday to Friday)

Description
Key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include:
*Prepare accurate monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines.
*Produce profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
*Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting and annual financial planning.
*Analyse financial performance and investigate variances against budget.
*Produce monthly KPI reports and provide commentary for senior management.
*Business partner with department managers to support informed decision-making.
*Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
*Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
*Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
*Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
*Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will:
*Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
*Have previous experience as a Management Accountant with full ownership of month end close
*Manufacturing experience preferable, however not essential
*Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
*Experience using accounting and strong MS excel skills
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
*High attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
*A proactive and commercially minded approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
Job Offer
*Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
*Full-time, permanent position.
*Office-based role in Rochdale.
