Full job descriptionAs an Audit Senior in Ashford, you’ll focus on managing audits from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly for clients in the accountancy industry. This role is key to maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality financial insights.

Our client is a top 10 accountancy practice based in the Ashford area.
Description
*Heavily involved in the completion of audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, normally on site at client premises
*Responsibility for the planning and completion of audit assignments, whilst ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation
*Prepare statutory financial statements from client data and highlight high level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner/Manager whilst using a significant degree of your own judgement
*Planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner/Manager review
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
*A professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
*Working knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP
*Strong technical knowledge of audit practices and accounting standards.
*Experience managing audits and working with clients in the professional services sector.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*The ability to mentor and manage junior team members effectively.
*A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Permanent role within a professional services organisation in Ashford.
