The RoleStarting 1st September 2026, you will play a key part in helping pupils build confidence, achieve positive outcomes, and foster engagement in learning. This is a contract role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:15pm, with an extended day on Wednesdays (until 4:15pm).
Pay Rate: £98.00 per day

Role Responsibilities*Support pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs and challenging behaviour throughout the school day
*Develop and maintain positive relationships to encourage engagement and participation
*Assist with classroom activities and individual learning plans
*Help pupils with emotional regulation, confidence, and social development
*Promote positive behaviour through consistent support and boundaries
*Work alongside teachers and wider support teams to tailor support for each pupil


Skills and Experience*Experience working within a PRU, Alternative Provision, SEMH, or similar environment is essential
*Background supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEN, and challenging behaviour
*Strong understanding of behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
*Ability to build positive relationships with young people
*Calm, patient, consistent approach
*Education, SEND, or care-based qualifications desirable; relevant experience essential
*Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to have one processed
*Available for a full-time, long-term role from September 2026
*Able to complete compliance checks promptly
