Full job descriptionCMA Recruitment Group is managing an exciting opportunity, based in Petersfield. An Assistant Accountant vacancy has become available to join a thriving manufacturing organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fabulous, career enhancing position and would suit a graduate, who has some work experience and strong Excel skills, including V Look ups and Pivot Tables.
What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
*Analysing financial data and investigating variances to support operational decision-making
*Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes to contribute to strategic financial planning
*Liaising with staff across departments to resolve price and cost queries
*Producing accurate financial reports and identifying opportunities for process improvements
*Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and administrative duties as required
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Some relevant accounts or financial analysis experience.
*Demonstrating proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and familiarity with accounts systems.
*Displaying strong attention to detail and analytical skills
*Being proactive, adaptable, and able to communicate effectively across teams

*Hybrid working arrangement (4 days office, 1 day from home).

*33 days annual leave including Bank Holidays

*Salary will be dependent on experience
