Full job descriptionAs a Payroller, based in Worthing, you’ll play an important role in managing payroll processes. Your work will help ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time, supporting the smooth running of the organisation.
Client Details
This organisation operates within an extremely busy bureau sector and is based in Worthing.
Description
*Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
*Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
*Handle payroll queries and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
*Calculate statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP.
*Coordinate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data is reflected in payroll.
*Prepare reports related to payroll for internal and external stakeholders.
*Assist with year-end processes, including P60s and P11Ds.
*Stay updated on changes to payroll legislation and implement necessary updates.
Profile
A successful Payroller should have:
*Experience in processing payroll.
*Knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
*Good communication skills for interacting with employees and stakeholders.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
*Permanent position in Worthing.
*Salary ranging from £25,000 to £28,000, dependent on the level of experience.
