The Role
You’ll be carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installations across occupied residential properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Your duties will include:
*Electrical testing and inspection
*Fault finding and reactive repairs
*Full and partial rewires
*Kitchen and bathroom electrical installations
*Installation of domestic heating controls and systems
*Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
*Completing emergency call-outs when required
*Maintaining accurate job records, including photographs where needed
*Following health & safety procedures and safe working practices
*Providing excellent customer service while working in residents’ homes
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, customer-focused and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
You’ll ideally have:
*NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
*18th Edition Wiring Regulations
*City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection qualification
*Full UK driving licence
*Previous experience within social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*A professional and respectful approach when working in customers’ homes
A CSCS card is beneficial but not essential.
A DBS check will be required before employment.
