About the HomeWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded nursing and residential care home located in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
Our client is part of an established portfolio of six care homes across Cumbria, with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care. Set in a peaceful countryside location close to the Cumbrian coastline, the service supports approximately 45–50 residents, creating a warm and homely atmosphere where individuals can feel safe, respected and cared for.

We are seeking Care Assistants to join this friendly and supportive team. Previous care experience is not essential — we are looking for people with the right attitude, compassion and willingness to learn.

This is a full-time permanent position offering 36, 42 or 48 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00am–7:00pm or 7:00pm–7:00am. Both day and night shifts are available.
The RoleAs a Care Assistant, you will:
*Provide kind, compassionate and person-centred support to residents
*Assist with personal care, mobility, dressing and daily routines
*Support with meals, hydration and wellbeing
*Promote dignity, independence, choice and respect at all times
*Encourage residents to take part in activities and social opportunities
