I’m partnering with a growing, forward-thinking accountancy practice in Northwich that’s looking for an Audit Senior to join its team. This is a strong move for someone ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualifying, who wants more client ownership, more variety and a clearer route to progression.
This is more than just another audit role-you’ll take ownership of your own portfolio, work directly with clients, mentor junior team members and be part of a firm that genuinely invests in its people.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, taking responsibility for budgets, timelines, fieldwork and final delivery across a varied client portfolio
*Manage client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
*Review work, support junior team members and help them develop their audit and accounts knowledge through coaching and feedback.
*Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies.
*Ensure assignments are delivered on time, within budget and to a high technical standard.
What We’re Looking For
*ACA/ACCA qualified.
*At least 3 years’ experience within an accountancy practice.
*Strong knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards.
*Confident managing client relationships and leading audit assignments.
*Full UK driving licence.
